J R Lobo hands over Rs 70,000 to renovate house

Mangaluru, 08 Apr 2015: MLA J R Lobo on Tuesday April 7 handed over a cheque of Rs 70,000 to the family of Dayakar Bangera of Maroli, to renovate his house that was collapsed due to rain recently.
 
Both the legs of Dayakar Bangera have been amputated and his wife works at a printing press.
 
Seeing the poor condition of the family, MLA Lobo, who had inspected the house 4 days ago, had taken the responsibility of arranging funds to reconstruct their house.

 

 
MLA Lobo handed over the cheque of Rs 70,000 to the family. He thanked the revenue department for acting swiftly and granting the money.
 
Besides, several locals too came forward to help the family. Few residents donated construction material to the family.
 
Vinay Mascarenhas, Santosh and Vinod from Pumpwell, contractor Abbas and others also contributed towards renovating the house.
