Udupi: Parents/teachers support needed in shaping future responsible citizens – Fr Anil

Udupi, 04 Mar 2015: In order to make stronger nation, there lies the greater need for hard working individuals. The teachers got to bear the responsibility in shaping the future responsible citizen of our great nation. We ought to avoid depending on others for small tasks. The teachers got to train the students along with their parents to become self reliant. The students will achieve better marks with better co-ordination of teachers and parents, Shirva parish-run education institutions administrator Fr Anil Prakash Castelino.

 

Fr Anil was speaking during PTA meeting held at Don Bosco English Medium High School, Shirva, near here on Monday March 2. The School head teacher Gretta Noronha presented the annual report and explained the school activities, the forthcoming SSLC exam.

 

 

Lona Gomes, Alban Ferrao, Ivan Danti and Jacinta Mathias spoke on behalf of parents on the occasion. The school governing council vice president Wilson D’Souza, PTA vice president Ronald Sequeira were present at the dais.

 

The students demonstrated Karate, Bharatanatyam, crafts and painting in front of the audiences of their parents.

 

Irene Cardoza welcomed the gathering and proposed vote of thanks. Alwyn Danti compered the programme.
