Managluru, Nov 19, 2014: The street food vendors led by CITU staged protest in front of municipal headquarter here on Tuesday November 18 urging the authorities to immediately halt the raids on roadside eateries.

Street Food Sellers Association honorary president and CITU leader Sunil Kumar Bajal urged the civic body to stop the raids and start food corners across the city.

Addressing the protesters, Sunil said, ‘The street food sellers are being raided with false accusations. If the accusations are true they will have to be penalized. The raid on every street food vendor is not justified. We urge the civic body to issue guidelines to the food sellers and start food corners across the city,’ said Sunil.

The Association office bearers Mohammed Musatafa and Santosh Kumar, and others were present on the occasion.
