Mangaluru: Former mayor K Ashraf elected president of DK District United Jamat

Mangaluru, 18 Nov 2014: Dakshina Kannada (DK) district Samasta Jamaat Federation held a meeting to form Committees of Samasta in DK district at Don Bosco Hall, here on Sunday November 16.

Swadakatulla Faizi of Jumma masjid, Zeenat Baksh Centre, Bunder, here delivered the inaugural address.
 
Kazi Twaka Ahmed Musliar presided the programme.

 

 
Twaka Ahmed Musliar announced the former mayor K Ashraf as president of DK district Samasta Jamat Federation that was renamed as DK district United Jamat. Meed Kalladka announced as chief secretary.
 
The forthcoming meeting will be held to elect other office bearers and executive Committee.  
 
The heads of 400 madrasas and masjids under DK district Samasta Jamat Federation attended the meeting.
 
Hussein Darimi delivered the introductory address. The former mayor Ashraf K welcomed the gathering.
