Puttur: Guest Lecture on Website Development and Hosting at St Philomena College

Puttur, Oct 23, 2014: The post graduation department of computer science of St Philomena College, here organized a guest lecture on website development and hosting by Sumanth K S, department of computer science of St Annamma College, Virajpet, on Saturday October 18.

 

St Philomena College campus director Fr. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, co-ordinator of computer science Department Govind Prakash and all the faculty members were present on the occasion. The first year computer science students have actively participated in the program.

 

Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro during his talk enlightened the students with his knowledgeable words related to communication skills and delivering capacity of thoughts and ideas into actions. He motivated and encouraged the students.

 

 

Sumanth K S in his lecture on website development and hosting, educated the students regarding the basics of website development and maintenance. He informed the students to create their own websites and also briefed all about hosting the websites. 

 

The head of department of computer science Govind Prakash presented memento to guest lecturer Sumanth K S for sharing his knowledge amongst the students.

 

The program began with the prayer led by first year M Sc computer science students. K S Mohith Gowda welcomed the gathering. Raksha proposed the vote of thanks. Akshatha of first M Sc computer science compered the programme.
