Four students die in Bolero-Rajhamsa collision at Hasan

 

Hassan/Udupi, 18 Oct 2014: Four boys including one from Udupi died on the spot and one person was grievously  injured in car-rajahamsa bus collision at Hassan on Saturday, October 18.

 

The deceased are Varun (21) from Udupi, Likith Gowda (21) from Hassan, Amogha (21) and Adarsha (21) of Chikmagalur, while the injured is Garuda (22).

 

It is said that five students from Malnad Engineering College had gone out in their Bolero Car on Friday, October 17. On Saturday when they were returning to Hassan, a KSRTC travelling to Mangalore collided head-on near the bus stop. While the four boys died on the spot, Garuda had to be pulled out from the wreckage. He was then taken to the Government Hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
