Udupi: Over 250 people benefit from mega health checkup camp at Shirva

Udupi, Sep 16, 2014: Mega health checkup camp for almost all diseases by the surgeons of KMC Hospital, Mangalore was held at Community Health Centre, Shirva, near here on Sunday September 14.

 

It was jointly organized by Rotary Club -  Shirva, Rotary community wing – Padoor, Bharat Nirman Volunteers Association – Shirva and Community Health Centers.

 

 

Bangalore-based entrepreneur Prabhakar S Poojary inaugurated the camp here on Sunday morning.

 

Rotary Club – Shirva president Dr N S Shetty presided the programme.

 

Rotary community wing past president Adraman, Agnes L Noronha, Dr Gururaj were present.

 

K R Patkar proposed vote of thanks.

 

Over two-hundred-fifty availed the benefits of camp, while 25 poor patients were issued Green Cards.

 

M/s Industrial Caterers, Udupi and Bangalore sponsored the camp.

 

The medical officer Dr Vasudev Upadhyaya welcomed the gathering.
