Udupi: Noted Yakshagana artiste T Sripada Bhat f’ted

Udupi, Sep 1, 2014: The public celebration of Ganeshotsav Samiti, Shirva, near here felicitated the noted Badagutittu Yakshagana artiste Tandimane Sripada Bhat here on Sunday August 31.

 

The Samiti president K Sundar Prabhu felicitated Sripada in the presence of secretary Kollabettu Ravindra Shetty, vice president Tammanna Poojary, Vedamurti Kenja Sridar Tantri, Ravindra Acharya, Professor H S Gopal, Sripati Kamat Shirva and others on the occasion.

 

 

Chandrahasa Charitre, Yakshagana play was presented by the artistes of Perdoor temple promoted troupe as part of entertainment programme.

 

Meanwhile, the thirty-fourth public celebration of Ganeshotsav was concluded by immersing the idol of Lord Ganesha in a colorful procession of devotees at the water pond, Shirva, near here on Sunday August 31.
