Karkal: Youth donate blood to celebrate I - Day

Karkal, 17 Aug 2014: The youth of Jantra, near Belman here celebrated sixty-eighth Independence Day by voluntarily donating blood, led by local youth leader Vishwanat Patkar, here on Friday August 15.
 
 
The local youth both men and women arrived at Jnaneshwari auditorium, near Siddi Vinayak temple, by engaging a bus, where G Shankar Family Trust® organized a blood camp at Punarukare School, Belman, near here to voluntarily donate their blood.   
 


 
Dr G Shankar, Udupi MLA Pramod Madwaraj, KMC blood bank director Dr Shammi Shastry and social activist Veronica Cornelio congratulated the youth group.
 
 
Punarukare School senior teacher Devdas Patkar who contributed his blood maximum times in Belman, bus stand time keeper and social activist Ravi, Vasanti, Punaru Raghunat Nayak, Shailesh inspired the youth in this regard.
