M’lore – Manipal KSRTC Volvo Bus goes off-road at Padubidri

Udupi, Jul 30, 2014 : The state-owned Volvo bus plying from Mangalore to Manipal went off-road, when its driver lost control while overtaking another vehicle after hitting a truck plying from Hubli to Mangalore, besides national highway, near Kamat filling station, Padubidri, near here on Tuesday July 29 evening. The bus rummaged into wild vegetation that camouflaged it besides the national highway and abruptly stopped.

 

 

There were 40 passengers in the bus, a few of them were injured and further info is awaited.

Padubidri police registered a case in this regard.
