Women Awareness & Self Defense Demonstration Held

Udupi, Dec 5, 2013 : At the joint aegis of Rotary Club International (RCI) – Parkala and Udupi police station, women awareness and self defense was held at Parkala High School auditorium, near here on Wednesday December 4.
 
 
 
RCI – Parkala president S N Nayak presided the function here on Wednesday morning.

 

 
 
 
Udupi designated DySP Savita Hoogar was the resource person spoke on women awareness.
 
 
The international Karate practitioner Praveen demonstrated self defense methods for the women in an attempt to save themselves from attackers.
 
 
RCI zone 2 designated governor Dinesh Hegde Atrady, Parkala High School acting headmaster Ramakant, RCI member Geetasri M Upadhya, K Sarala Shetty, Gopalakrishna Achar, Parkala high school teachers and staff were present on the occasion.
 
 
Over 200 students of ParkHigh School and Shennibettu Government High School were benefited out of the programme.
 
 
The retired headmaster K Shivaram Shetty compered the programme.  Ramakant proposed vote of thanks.
