Udupi: Foundation laid to build Belle Kamalaksha Shenoy Memorial Bus Stand

Udupi, 15 Nov 2013: The foundation was laid to construct Belle Kamalaksha Shenoy memorial bus stand by Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) at nearby 5 cents Shivagiri colony, Padubelle, near here on Thursday November 14.

 

The intellectual and senior teacher B Pundalika Marate Shirva after laying the foundation said that Belle Kamalaksha Shenoy in his lifetime contributed for the welfare of different communities regardless of caste, creed and faith and also served for the nation during the freedom struggle, said Pundalika.   He also lauded the VHP unit to build a memorial in this regard.

 

 

 
Padubelle – Mahalingeshwar temple priest Vedamurti Madwaraj Bhat performed the vedic rites on the occasion.

 
Belle gram panchayat president Rajendra Shetty, former president Sasidar Wagle, VHP president Vishwanat Shetty, Belle gram panchayat members Parashuram Bhat, Sunita B Shetty, Bantakal postmaster B Bhaskar Shetty, Balakrishna Poojary, Shivagiri colony residents were present.
