Subash Nagar Rotract organizes Rural Friendly Sports Meet

Udupi, 25 Sep 2013 : Rotary Club International (RCI) – Shankarapura president Denzel Castelino inaugurated the rural friendly sports meet that was organized in association with RCI – Subash Nagr at nearby Sarkarigudde Anganawadi, Acchada, near here on Sunday September 22.

 

 

Kurkalu gram panchayat president Bhuvanesh, Shankarapura – Inner-wheel president Alice, Harish Poojary Katpady, YFC president Anwar Saheb, Hindu Yuvasene president Umesh Acharya  were the chief guests of the occasion.

 

The games were held in 3 divisions, children, men and women, while more general public partaken in the rural games on the occasion.

 

YFC convener Shukoor Saheb distributed the prizes during the concluding ceremony on Sunday evening.

 

Katpady gram panchayat former president Agnesh D’Sa, sports director Praveen Shetty was present at the dais.

 

Shankarapura school teacher Santosh Shetty and teacher Irene were the jurors of sports competitions.

 

Rotaract president Gladson Kunder presided and welcomed the gathering.  Mohammed Hanif compered the programme.  The secretary Chidanand proposed vote of thanks.
