Hassan: Minister Dr Mahadevappa assures Agitating Vet Students to resolve issues soon

Hassan, 12 Sep 2013 : The state PWD and Hassan district-in-charge minister Dr H C Mahadevappa expressed confidence of resolving the issue of agitating students of Veterinary College on their eighth day of indefinite fast.

 

 

Its significant the parents of students also joined in hunger protest on eighth day.  Meanwhile, the minister Dr Mahadevappa arrived at the venue and listened to the grievances of agitating students, who demanded the vice-chancellor of Veterinary College to arrive at the spot.

 

The minister Dr Mahadevappa tried to convince the students that the issue of getting recognition for Veterinary College has been discussed and the file has been forwarded to union government for approval.  The issue will be resolved in a few days after the receipt of report from union government.  He also advised the agitating students to keep in touch with him in this regard.

 

The students temporarily called off the hunger protest and continued with sit-in.
