M’belle: Independence Day celebration at different places

Moodubelle, 16 Aug 2013: Kappandakarya Yuvaka Mandala celebrated 67the Independence Day by unfurling the flag by secretary Satish Kumar. Presdient of the Yuvaka Mandala-Ivan D’Almeda, Anil Alva, Bhaskar Kulal, Monthu Fernandes, Narayana Naik and other members of the association were present.

 

 

In the Kappandakarya Anganwadi, Ivan D’Almeida unfurled the flag. Anganwadi teacher Archana welcomed the guests. Memebrs of the Yuvaka Mandala were present. The Yuvaka Mandala distributed sweets to the students.

 

Edmeru Higher Primary School

 

In the Edmeru Higher Primary School, the Independence Day was celebrated by unfurling the flag by Shivaram Salian, member of the Belle Grama Panchayat. On this occasion Udaya Kumar Shetty, Gururaj Bhat, Govinda Jogi, Sitaram Shetty and teachers and villagers were present. N. Vivekanada Shetty, headmaster of the school conducted the programme.

 

 

Nisarga Yuvaka Mandala

 

 

Nisarga Yuvaka Mandala celebrated 67th Independence Day by the unfurling of the flag by Gururaj Bhat. Shivaram Salian, member of the Belle Grama Panchayat presided over the function. Devdas Hebbar and N. Vivekananda and Bhaskar Shetty were the guests of honour. Honorary President of the Nisarga Yuvaka Mandala- Valerian Noronha, President-Lakshmi Narayan and Secretary Alwyn Lobo were present. Umesh compeered the programme, Kirtan Poojary welcomed the gathering and Pawan Kumar proposed the vote of thanks. Benedict Martis sponsored the sweets.

 

Narayanaguru Educational Instittuions, Padubelle

 

 

Independence Day celebrated at the Narayanaguru Educational Instittuions by the unfurling of the flag by Cyril Quadros who had sponsored the programme.  The administrative officer of the institutions-Jinaraj C. Salian, Kannada Medium High School Headmistress-Mrs. Usha S. Ubhaya, Parents-Teachers Asssociation President-Jayaprakash Suvarna and Anantha Padmanabha Bhat and Old Students Association President-Partahsarathi were present.
