Udupi: Rotary Service indeed gives Deep Satisfaction – Ashok Kumar Shetty

Udupi, 16 July  : Rotary Club International (RCI) is an association of likeminded people who are striving for social harmony and contribute their mite for social welfare activities as a team that gives them greater satisfaction, said RCI district zone 2 past assistant governor Ashok Kumar Shetty.

 

 

 

Shetty was speaking during the installation ceremony of new office bearers of RCI – Shirva during the function held at Manipura High School hall, near here recently.

 

Shetty installed Jayaram Shetty and Herald D’Silva as president and secretary respectively of RCI – Shirva at the occasion.

 

RCI – Shirva outgoing president Prakash Shetty presided the function.

 

The secretary Rajesh Roshan read the report.  RCI – Shirva founder president Joseph Kundar, Krishnaraj Acharya, Surendra Shenoy, Mohammed Sheriff and Camille Sequeira introduced the guests.

 

The new president Jayaram Shetty announced the new social welfare programmes.

 

The assistant governor Madhav Suvarna released, Manikya, RCI bulletin.  The zonal commandant Jagannat Kote conveyed best wishes to the programme.

 

The scholarship was distributed to the talented students at the occasion.  The software engineer Roshan Joy Sequeira joined as new member of RCI.

 

Javita Sequeira rendered the prayers.  Chandrashekar Salian compered the programme.  Divakar Shetty assisted in the programme.  The new secretary Herald D’Silva proposed vote of thanks.
