Over 67 Units of Blood Collected during Camp at Belman

Karkal, 16 Jul 2013: The entrepreneur Suhas Hegde Nandalike appealed to youth to become voluntary blood donors. Suhas was speaking after inaugurating mega blood camp that was organized at the joint aegis of JCI – Belman, NSS unit of Dr N S A M First Grade College, Nitte and youth Red Cross Society (RCS).

The district blood bank medical officer Dr Sharat Kumar offered information on blood donation. Dr N S A M First Grade College principal Veena B K conveyed best wishes to the programme.

 

NSS unit co-ordinator Dayanand Bayar, youth RCS co-ordinator Vignesh Shenoy, JCI past president Dinesh Suvarna were present aat the dais.Punarukare Government Higher Primary School headmaster Devdas Patkar and Bola Vanjarakatte postmaster Sunil Devadiga were honored for donating their blood exceeding 25 times.

JCI – Belman president Raghunat Nayak Punaru welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Sanjeev Kedinje proposed vote of thanks.
A total of 67 units of blood was collected during the blood camp.
