Udupi: PFI – Shirva Unit distributes Scholarship & Free Books

Udupi, 02 Jun 2013: The education shapes better future for an individual.  Islam lays higher significance to education while Popular Front of India (PFI) has embarked on School Chalo campaign in order to encourage the students in this regard, said PFI district secretary Hanif.

 

Hanif was speaking during the scholarship and books distribution programme for poor students of different communities in the society, organized by PFI Shirva unit, here on Saturday June 1.

 

 

The parents should not pressurize their children.   They ought to encourage the area of interest of their children, said Hanif.

 

Shirva – Jamia masjid chairman Haji Moideen Mohammed presided the programme.

 

The secretary Mayyadi Dawood, honorary president Meeran Abdul Khader, SDPI leader Abubakker Padoor, Shabbir Shirva, Hanif Shirva, Shirva – Urdu School teachers were present at the occasion.
