The exit polls for Kapu predicts a win for Lalaji Mendon. If he really retains his seat, how shall his party and its local supporters interpret the verdict? Would they accept that it is time to review their definition of Hindutva? Is it establishing a theocratic Hindu Rashtra? What is it? The party will not move from cultural-religious ideology to a secular (in European sense)and socio-economic ideology until its vote share falls to what it was before Advani s Rathyatra. A supplementary to Christian BJP men and women: What do they believe is Hindutva?

There is a difference between supporting a political party and a local candidate. It often happens that a very good person is contesting from a party which does not respect the fundamental rights of every citizen, has scant respect for the constitution though it swears to uphold the constitution while taking oath of office. When a party does not have the guts to kick out its members when they take the law in their own hands just because the party wants their support to win an election, however good a person may be, will lose the support of the people. In a similar way, a party which does not have the capability to field candidates in all the constituencies which go to polls, has no right to contest because all we want is a party to gain majority seats on its own and rule the state or nation for the next five years. Coalition politics is the bane of the nation whether it is in India or anywhere else like Italy etc. I shall not vote a person (even if he is my brother) if he belongs to a party which does not repect the constitution of the state and does not field enough candidates who can win and form a governement on its own. Still confused? If yes, you have no right to vote. Period.

They must have forgotten the attacks of Sangh men on churches, police beating them...attacks on women and so on! These women should take assurense in writing from supporting political party that they will not do church attacks and attacks on minority before joining them! It is their wish after all! Moral policing of BD is less in Shirva, Kaup. It is better to caution the political leaders that people do not like moral policing Cancer spreading into peaceful area!! Will they allow Christians to eat beef fearlessly? Will the beef food item available to the consumer without any hassle? Voter need to clarify freedom towards practicing food habits?
