Congress Activists Joined BJP at Bantakal

Udupi, 18 Apr 2013: The youth Congress activists of 62 ward of Heroor, Bantakal and Arasikatte, led by Harindra P Suvarna joined BJP in a simple function held at nearby Ganesh Bakery, Bantakal, near here on Wednesday April 17 evening. 

Addressing the gathering, Harindra said that he has joined BJP along with his followers, because they were inspired with the simplicity and peoples-friendly nature of Kaup BJP MLA Lalaji R Mendon and were impressed by development works undertaken during his term, said Harindra.

 

Congress activists Harischandra Acharya, Jayakar Poojary, Sunil Poojary, Ganapati Acharya, Ravi Kundar, Udupi ZP member Arun Shetty Padoor, Kaup block Congress Committee former president Ravindra Shetty Kollabettu, Vijay Karkera Kaup, Shirva block Committee president Venkatesh Prabhu joined BJP at the occasion.

Majoor gram panchayat former president Ganesh Shetty Heroor, Belle gram panchayat former president Sasidar Wagle Sadambail, Yellur Shakti Kendra president Praveen Kumar Gurme, Kaup gram panchayat former president Yogish Rai, Majoor local Committee president Krishna Rao Karandady, Shirva – youth morcha president Rajesh Shetty Panjimar, Bhojaraj Shetty Heroor, Vijay Shetty Heroor, BJP secretary Santosh Shetty Kodu, taluk panchayat former member Ramesh Hegde, Chandrahas Shetty, Rajesh Prabhu Panjimar and others were present.
