Udupi: Sri Krishna old age home inaugurated

Udupi, 9 Apr 2013: Sri Krishna old age home, that was functioning at nearby Hanuman Garage, Chitpady, near here since over a decade has been shifted to behind Moodubettu School, near here on Monday April 8.

Malpe entrepreneur Pramod Madwaraj inaugurated the premises here on Monday.

 

 

Moodubettu sixth ward town council member Hermes Noronha, Abdul Aziz Adi Udupi, Sadiq, Krishna old age home trustees Krishnamurti Acharya, Jayalaxmik, Srisha Acharya, Ramesh Bhat, Kanakalata, Susheela, Indiramma and Vasanti were present at the occasion.

The old age home has a capacity of 15 inmates, while there are 10 inmates who are cared there.
The elderly who have none to take care, those who are lonely and their grown up sons settled else where, and are ailing are cared for at the home, said Krishnamurti.
