Udupi, 6 Apr 2013:  The second edition of reptile expert Gururaj Sanil authored book, Havu – Navu, was released here on Friday April 6.

 

 

The first book that was published in 2012 has information on 40 varieties of snakes that are found in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district. In the second book, information on 7 varieties of snakes that are found across the country are added, besides the religious practices related to serpent worship are emphasized, as per the media release issued by the publisher – Geetha Prakashan.
