Peoples’ Representatives offer Assurances to Upgrade Shirva Primary Health Centre

Udupi, 15 Jan 2013: Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, ZP newly-elected president Upendra Nayak, ZP member Ida Gilbert D’Souza and ZP past president Katpady Shankar Poojary paid a visit to Shirva primary health Centre, here on Monday January 14, in order to review the medical facilities available at the Centre.

 

 

The Centre medical officer Dr Vasudev Upadhyaya explained the need to upgrade the laboratory, state-run ambulance service 107 to respond to emergencies, shortage of surgeons.

 

The peoples’ representatives assured to provide the facilities on priority basis.

 

Shirva gram panchayat member Gopalakrishna Prabhu, Venkatesh Prabhu, Devdas Nayak, Suresh Nayak, Rajesh, Mary Castelino, Leela Salian, Krishna Acharya, Shalini, Vijay Poojary, Rekha Naik, Bhaskar Shetty and others were present at the occasion.
