Manipal student brothers win Int’l Competition

Manipal, 13 September 2012: Two brothers Naveen Baskar and Nitin Baskar from Kodavoor have won 3rd place in the international ‘Application Design Contest’ organized by S.T. Company France along with Concourse Anatomy France, S.T. Ericson and Resonance. They have received trophy, software worth rupees one lakh and a kit containing circuit board and a cash prize of 1,500 US Dollars, in a function held in France.

Both of these brothers are studying their final year of MS (Embedded) in Manipal University. Their ‘Evo Mouse’ a software specially developed for the blind was chosen among the various entries from around the world and received wide appreciation. This became possible by the experience of various projects developed for the students while studying Engineering opinioned these brothers. Earlier they had received Distinctive Excellence prize in the international competition conducted by Circuit Cellar N.X.P. Company.
