Moodubelle: Burglars strike the same house for the fourth time, take away documents

Moodubelle, 15 July 2012: In as kind of serial housebreaking, burglars struck the house of Mrs. Christine Noronha at Gundupaadhe at Marne under the Manipura Grama Panchayat jurisdiction for the fourth time during the night of Friday, July 13,2012. Taking advantage of  Mrs. Christine Noronha’s absence  who had one to Mangalore to look after her ailing daughter, the burglars broke open the house and took away the original documents of the house and land issued by the Manipura Grama Panchayat.  The burglary was detected by Ms. Teresa Lobo, sister of Mrs. Christine Noronha when she went to the house in the morning as usually she used to do in the absence of her sister.

 

 

According to Ms. Teresa Lobo, this is the fourth time that the burglars breaking into the house.  When the burglars broke in for the first time they could  not succeed in robbing anything. Twice later, the burglars broke into the house when Mrs. Christine Noronha had gone to the neighbour’s house after locking  the door. Second time they had robbed the gold and cash. Third time they had taken away cutlery goods and this time they did away with the vital documents.

 

It is indeed a surprise how the burglars could target the same house four times. It seems that the burglars have been keeping a watch on the movements of Mrs. Christine Noronha and took advantage of her being away to her daughter’s house in Mangalore.  Having robbed everything earlier, the burglars took away the original documents of the house and land. It is difficult to understand the motive of the robbers.
