Udupi: Volakadu School excelled students honoured

Udupi, 28 July 2012: The education must be through developing the trust along with the  patriotism, adventure and personality development. The mind must be attracted towards the shaping of life and only when one understands the responsibility, the future gets build up. When the students feel awareness on their duty, their future becomes bright, said Vidhana Parishat Member Capt Ganesh Karnik.

 
He was speaking as the chief guest on the function held for honouring the talented students and releasing of school calender on the occasion of the golden anniversary celebration of Udupi Olakad Government High School. On this occasion the District Education Officer and former Headmaster Ashok Kamath felicitated Capt Ganesh Karnik who was re elected for State Vidhana Parishat.

 

 
Jilla Panchayath President Katpadi Shankara Poojary inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Top scorer students Subrahamanya Upadyaya, Rashmita G.M. and Anuradha Venkataramana Bhat were honoured by Capt Ganesh Karnik. Udupi MLA K. Raghupathi bhat honoured the talented students.

 
Chief Guests Udupi Municipal President Kiran Kumar, School Development Committee President M.R. Hegde, Municipal Vice President Bharathi Chandrashekar, Old Students Association President Amrat Shenoy, Shyamprasad Kudwa, Sadashiva Rao and Naveen Bhandary were present on the dias.

 
School Headmistress Nirmala B. welcomed. Ramya conducted introduction. Anushree and Chandana compeered the program. Senior Teacher Asha T. proposed vote of thanks.
