Moodubelle: Applications for ownership documents

Moodubelle, 09 April 2012: During his visit to Belle on Saturday former Minister Vasantha V. Salian assured the people that those who have not received the ownership documents will be issued the same very soon. Upon receiving about 130 applications he said that more applications can be given and these applications will be submitted to Deputy Commissioner’s Office by 9th or 10th of this month.
Regarding the supply of tanker water to the places where there is no water supply he became angry for the PDO of the Belle Panchayath not approving the letter which is already approved by the Chief Executive Engineer. He also visited the places of the houses which were demolished about 9 months ago and as humanitarian grounds gave them some financial assistance. He told the Panchayath members also to help the people and apologized to those people for their situation and assured them to provide assistance from the government.
On this occasion Jilla Panchayath Member Ida Gibba D’Souza, Belle Grama Panchayath member Harish Shetty, Belle Grama Panchayath Vice President Sujatha Suvarna, Member Helen Mendonca, Social Worker Anil D’Souza, Ambarish, Gopal Bandary, Mohamed Shakil and many villagers were present.
