Shirva: Community Health Day Celebrated

Shirva, 31 March 2012: Community Health Day and World Tuberculosis Day were celebrated, jointly organized by Community Health Centre Shirva,Grama Panchayath, Rotary Club Shirva Grama Health Committee. The program which was organized in Community Health Centre premises was inaugurated by Jilla Panchayath Member Ida Gibba D’Souza by lighting the lamp.

 

 

The program was presided by Shirva Grama Panchayath President Vanita Kamalaksha Shenoy. Speaking on the occasion Community Health Centre Medical Officer Dr. Vasudeva Upadyaya briefed on the facilities provided by the government for the health awareness of the people.

 

Chief guests of the program Rotary District Deputy Governor K.R. Patkar and Shirva Rotary President Pamboor Ronald Sequeira were present. Taluk Health Officer Dr. Nagaratna and Taluk Tuberculosis In charge Manjunatha briefed the information about their departments.

 

Dental Medical Officer Dr. Santhosh Kumar Bailoor welcomed the guests and the gathering. Health Assistant Nagayya Hiremutt compeered the program. Kumari Jayanthi conducted prayers. Health Assistant Anjaneyaproposed vote of thanks.
