Belle Milk Producers Society honours B.Shankar

Moodubelle, 27 March 2012: B. Shankar, the Director of the Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers Federation who worked hard for the development of the federation and its Director from 1976 till 2012 was honoured by Belle Milk Producers’ Society on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10 am in the meeting held at the Geeta Mandir.

 

 

On this occasion six children of the members of the Belle Milk Producers Society were included in the Janashree Insurance with an amount of Rs.600 each. The society also donated Rs.3000 to Mrs. Juliet Fernandes,  widow of late Leo Simon Fernandes who was one of the active members of the society.

Dr. Anil Kumar Shetty and Dr. Manohar as resource persons conducted the workshop on the various aspects of dairy production.
Dr. B.H. Shetty, president of the Belle Milk Producers Society presided over the programme.  A.K. Alva, Executive Committee member welcomed the gathering and Secretary Ravindra compeered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
