Police hunt for Kannada actress Nayana involved in sex, con racket

 

Bangalore, 22 Jun 2014 (TOI): Kannada actress Nayana Krishna, who has acted in several Sandalwood films, is under the radar of Bangalore police. Reports say that she along with a group used to honey trap people and extort money from them.

 

 

The racket came to light after a city doctor sought the help of police, after being allegedly filmed with one of Nayana’s group members. The group demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore in exchange of the video tape from the victim.

 

The doctor after paying Rs 1 lakh to the group informed the police. Police nabbed three of her accomplices when they came to collect money from the doctor. Since the arrest of her accomplices, she and one more member of the group are absconding from the city.

 

Media reports say the actress is in Tamil Nadu. She even spoke to media from the neighbouring state, but when police tried to call her in the same number, her phone was switched off.
