Mangaluru: Much-awaited Kannada movie, ’March 22’ to premier in Karnataka on Aug 25

Mangaluru, 14 Aug 2017: The much-awaited Kannada movie, March 22, produced under the banner Acme Movies International by Dubai-based Mangalorean entrepreneur couple, Harish and Sharmila Serigar, directed by veteran director Kudlu Ramakrishna will be premiered across Karnataka state on August 25.

 

The Censor Board has issued U certificate for the movie, ideal for family entertainment.

The movie has a message and social concern to unite the people of different communities in the society. It depicts the significance of biodiversity and water bodies. The movie-lovers are eagerly waiting for its release as the interest sours.  

 

India is the abode of many castes, creeds and religion.  Despite the diversity, the people of different faith live in harmony that is unimaginable to other nations. Meanwhile, a few incidents of clashes among Hindu and Muslims in the past tarnished this image. It left a deep scar in Indian history, even after 70 years of India’s freedom. The movie has the storyline on this historical event to remind the viewers about the aftermath of Indian Partition.

 

The highlight of the movie has been the renowned Dubai-based NRI Kannadiga entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr B R Shetty on guest appearance. Preetigondu Salam anta Mansu Anteite, the song sung by producer Harish Serigar and Akshata Rao has already gone viral on youtube. 

 

Movie set to release in Mumbai and GCC in September

 

The storyline has created much interest among the producers of other regional cinemas, while the producer Harish Serigar has not taken any stance in this regard. The preparations are under way to premier the movie in Mumbai and GCC during September.

 

The renowned sandalwood veteran actor Anant Nag and Vinayaprasad, Geeta, senior actor Sharat Lohitashwa, Ashish Vidyarti, Sadhoo Kokila, Jai Jagdish, Rave Kale, Padmaja Rao, Ramesh Bhat, Srinivas Murti, Ravindranat are cast in the movie. Ayurvardan and Kiran Raj are on lead roles along with heroines Meghasri and Deepti Shetty. Kishore, Srujan Rai, Shanta Acharya, Dubai theater artistes Chidanand Poojary, Suvarna Satish, Prashobita and others were also cast in the movie.

 

The dialogue and direction by veteran director Kudlu Ramakrishna, music directed by Manikant Kadri, N H Ravishekar and Rajamaga, playback singing by S P Balasubramanya, Kailash Kher, Karthik, Anuradha Bhat, Harish Serigar, Ravishekar, Rajamaga and Akshata Rao. Mohan is the cameraman. The stunt directed by Thriller Manju and Kungfu Chandru, choreographed by Madan Harini.
