Mangaluru: MCCS student Poorvi Rao, finalist in Colors Kannada Dancing Star Junior Show

Mangaluru, 02 Sep 2015: The multifaceted 10-year-old girl Poorvi K Rao, Class V student of Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS), Mary Hill, here has not only brought name and fame to her parents and family members, but also made her school management, teachers and friends happy and proud. She has been selected as one of 5 finalists in the Colors Kannada ‘Dancing Star Junior’ show that will be held on September 12.

Poorvi is the only girl among other 4 boys in the Top 5 finalists. With ‘Dancing Star 2’ giving the much deserved success to Colors Kannada – the ‘Dancing Star Junior’ followed close on its heels airing from July 11, with the finals being held on September 12. This programme is telecasted on Colors Kannada Channel every Saturday and Sunday from 9.00pm to 10.30pm.

 

At a felicitating ceremony held at the school premises, for her achievement in making it to the finals in the ‘Dancing Star Junior’ show, the Principal of the School Sr Melissa AC said, ‘Poorvi is a joy and pride of our school. She has brought many laurels to school in various fields of her talents. Her entering the finals in the ‘Dancing Star Junior’ show is indeed a pride for our school, her classmates, teachers, her parents and her dear and near ones.
