Dammam Cricket Association holds 30th Annual Awards Function

Dammam/KSA, 14 Jun 2015: The thirtieth annual prize distribution ceremony of Dammam Cricket Association (DCA) was held at Crystal Mall, here recently.  All the team members and merited players attended the grand function.
 
The function started with the recitation of the verses from Holy Quran.
 
DCA president – Ashok Patel addressed the gathering and presented the annual report for the year 2014-2015.
 
Ashok thanked key sponsors: Mohammed Haneef Patel, Mohammed Yonus Malik , Zia Malik of Al Anwaar Modern Company (AAMCO) - Al Khobar, Nazeer Hussein of Al Falah - Jubail, Wael Abu Ali of Al Mitwalli Steel Company - Dammam,  Sohail Abbasi of Al Huwais General Trading Est – Dammam, Javid and Ismail of Al Jazeera Ambitions Factory Company – Dammam, Mohammed Hakeem of Al Kabeer, Madhav Amin of M M Amin Est - Dammam,  Imran Karkala of Eastern Arabia - Al Khobar, Ibrahim Hussein of Raqwani Trade - Al Khobar, Haroon Khot of Al Barrak Shipping,  Dayanand Shriyan of GIMA - Dammam, Shaikh of Expertise Jubail, Vincent Saldana of Al Zamil – Dammam, and others for their support and services to DCA throughout the season.
 
Ashok also thanked their patrons: Charlie of PC Cargo and Nazir Kazi of ABT Senddex for their advices to DCA.
 
The prizes to team winners and meritorious players of the respective tournaments conducted by DCA for the year 2014- 2015 were awarded.

DCA awarded the following players for their remarkable performances for the season 2014- 2015.:

Best all rounder        : Hyder Ali of Blue Stars – Dammam
Player of DCA -        : Nisar Ahmed of Al Falah – Jubail
 
DCA honored organizing Committee members, and game official with mementos for providing excellent support during Cricket Tournaments.
 
Indian School child artistes presented dances and songs which enthralled the audiences.  It was organized by Kudla Adventure Group 0 Dammam.

 

MASA former president Ravi Karkera, JF Dammam unit former president Mansour Ali Ahmed appreciated DCA organized Committee for their efforts in for managing such a big events of cricket tournaments in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia and promoting cricket.
 
Mohammed Haneef Patel, Mohammed Yonus Malik, awarded DCA –AAMCO champions Trophy to winner and runners up teams. 
 
Ashok Patel presented mementos to all the sponsors, co-sponsors and guests. He also thanked the owner of Crystal Mall - Abdul Aziz Al Qahthani.
 
DCA vice president Rajgopal, treasurer Ehethesham, joint secretary Ummer Ahmed, joint treasurer Zia Malik and referee Mohammed Iqbal, Satish Kumar Bajal of Kudla Adventures and MASA.
 
KCL president Mohammed Soofi, Ihsan Malik of Al Anwar, Mansour of Khobar United, Sagar Kumar of See & Say Web Site and DCA organizing Committee members were also present.
