Bangalore: Greenwood High hosts Inter School Quiz Competition

Bangalore, Oct 10, 2014: Greenwood High International School today hosted an inter school quiz competition – WISSEN 2014 at its campus at Varthur Sarjapur Road. The response from students of prominent schools in Bangalore was overwhelming. The WISSEN 2014 was won by Presidency School, Bangalore South. They received the award from the Guest of Honor, Mr. Charu Sharma, Mrs. Niru Agarwal and Mr. Manas Mehrotra, Board of Trustees, Greenwood High School. The winning team was also awarded a cash prize of Rs 1, 25,000 only. The 1st and 2nd runner up of WISSEN 2014 was awarded to Presidency School, NLO and Presidency School, R.T. Nagar.

 

 

About 150 students from various schools participated in the competition. The written examination was conducted with over 100 teams; a stringent protocol was followed to narrow down the top 8 finalists. The Grand finale was hosted by emininent Sports Personality - Mr. Charu Sharma. During the Award Ceremony, Mr. Charu Sharma delivered a motivation talk titled “How to measure Success”.
