Karnataka 2nd PUC result declared, Udupi in top and Dakshina Kannada second

Bengaluru, 15 Apr: This year’s II PUC results are out and the Udupi District has bagged the first place in the state, Dakshina Kannada district stands second, followed by Kodagu. Chitradurga is in the last place.
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) on Monday declared the results of the Pre-University II-year examination (PUC) at 11 am.
The results will be out on these websites - kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in from 12 pm onwards.
Two students from the Dakshina Kannada have tied for the first rank in the state. Olvita Ancilla D’Souza and Shrikrishna Sharma K, both of whom are from the commerce section, have secured a total of 596 marks in the exams.
Olvita, daughter of Oliver Ubald D’Souza and Anitha Maria D’Souza, is from Alva’s PU College Moodbidri (DK). Shrikrishna Sharma son of Subrahmanya Bhat and Sharada, is from Sathyasai Lokaseva PU College, Dakshina Kannada.
In the Arts section, Kusuma Ujjini from Indu PU College, Ballari secured a total of 594, while Rajath Kashyap S from Kumaran’s Comp PU College Bengaluru also secured a total of 594 marks.
This year as well, the girls have dominated the results.
Udupi has bagged 92.20 percent, DK has scored 90.91 percent and Kodagu bagged 83.31 percent. Standing last Chitradurga has bagged 51.42 percent.
