Glory to mamma Mary , the way her nativity feast was celebrated at THANE St lawrence church. The reportage was excellent, which should mean the celebrations and participation of the devotees ofMamma Mary was par excellence. God is sure to please and Bless all those who have partaken in the celebrations. Praise the Lord.
Yes! I do agree that good communication is very important..it should first start at home where the family lives together and if the family has a healthy way of talking and correcting each other..then only will one be able to adapt a good communicative skill..if we are working together with multi nationals there are so many words, expressions that we would come across that other nationals dominate in english which are not proper..but if you are able to communicate well..then its just impossible for you to digest what is being said and will try to not get instigated with the accent as well..also its very important to allow others to feel comfortable and avoid using jargins or slang .. yes it does not matter how much educational background you have..but if you are in the company of people who communicate well and a clear you will always be clear..weather it be on the phone or in person always try to listen and then speak .. never interrupt this creates confusion and misunderstandings..good communication skills are always prime factor if you are in a sales field..one only communicates well if one is confident about him/herself....cheers!
wonders of communications: when I was in Sixth Standard, my English teacher was explaining writing practice. He asked me to write on the Board, Hyderabad Madras Calcutta . I wrote: Hyder a Bad Mad rasCal cutta. You may appreciate this in the light of with communication! How the meaning... ?
Belle Church is blessed to have Rev. Fr. Clement who is a dedicated and devoted priest who cares for the needs of all the parishioners. We wish you Father, all success in your pastoral ministry at Moodubelle.
Honing your communication skills will certainly pay you back many times over. If you get it right you are guaranteed to have a much smoother path through life and your career and that is the essence of good communication. Happy to read an article on BV related to one of the very important aspects of our daily life!
Francis has chosen a subject which is close to my heart. He has done a commendable job of articulating his ideas on the subject. I trust he understands when I take liberty to take the discourse a little further.
In that organization, I led a team that mapped competencies, designed a development model and put a follow-up (training assessment retraining) for departments to follow. "Communication skills" was one out of 20 competencies with a weight of 5/100 in the performance management system.
We placed it as a generic competency, which means it can be learned, unlearned and even faked. Any generic competency built on foundations of core competencies (6 key ones, integrity being the top) will only deliver success, that too in a corporate cultural environment that is committed to ethics at its core.
For example, Cricket ex-boss Lalit Modi is a great communicator. He was very successful; look where it has taken him. You can cite examples that you like.
I recommend BV to publish exclusives from authors like Francis oftener.
Definitely ! Totally agree with your article Sir.
I like the title very much, very apt!
"You can have brilliant ideas, but if you can’t get them across, your ideas won’t get you anywhere!
Its like a painter/artist without a painting brush.
Thank you for sharing us your valuable thoughts and definitely after reading one can make a difference so that we can be understood better and with it comes everything.
Looking forward for many more articles and wish you all success.
Imposing it on all the citizen is interfering with the rights of every individual which may be called as unconstitutional. Instead, the advanced science and technology should evolve system where such messages are stored for the period proposed which should be viewed in front of the concerned if required. Keeping of secrecy of personal conversation is a right of any individual and infringe of such right is highly protestable. Sometimes when there is no any work ( even though there is lot to think and do) generally things such proposal.
No matter what is your chosen career, great communication skills will give you a competitive edge!
Nice to see all of my classmates and belleance .
Nice gathering and organized
Congratulations
Very often, what we try to communicate gets lost in translation despite our best intentions. We say one thing, the other person hears something else and misunderstandings, frustration and conflicts ensure. That is why it is really essential and vital for everyone why we need to communicate as best as we can. Good read from Bellevision.
Extremely sadden to hear the sad demise of Jagmohan Dalmiya. One of the greatest sports administrators to realize the potential of Indian cricket. I am sure the Indian cricket fraternity will always remember him for his immense contribution to Indian cricket and the support to all the cricketers. No doubt he was an astute cricket administrator and a visionary.
I appreciate and thank the young and the experienced old organizers for the way they organized this event. For the safety of all concerned they had invited two Emirati artistes to not only witness but also to actively participate in the event. I think that was a first in any Mangalurean konkan community events in Dubai. Hats off! Singing a very very old song (Rosalin mojen mogachen)which I used to listen people singing more than 60 years ago was a refreshing trend that our youngsters still value and appreciate the old konkani songs. Thanks to Joy Lobo for the beautiful song. Then there was little Mathias kid singing loud and clear. It was a bold attempt in front of a large crowd. With proper guidance from Renita, she will have a bright future. Keep it up baby. Who can forget the grateful send off accorded to Felis Bhot (Felix Alva)? A great act of gratitude and friendship. The orchestra by Alva s young talents ... list goes on. Well done!
Now, other side of the coin. In a function which is primarily organized for the children, the noise is natural which all understand. But, the noise generated by grown ups while an invited guest (like Fr Robert Lasrado)is speaking is unacceptable.
It takes time and effort to develop these skills and become an effective communicator. The more effort and practice you put in, the more instinctive and spontaneous your communication skills will become. Hence I fully agree with you Dear Benedict Noronha, thank you!
@Philip, Communication is a learned skill; it is more effective when it is spontaneous rather than formulaic. A speech that is read, for example, rarely has the same impact as a speech that s delivered (or appears to be delivered) spontaneously.
The large organization where you served earlier was very fortunate to have someone of your caliber, smart, intelligent a genius working for them, so it is understood that blaming everybody for lack of communication but still they (QS!) made mega profits
Cricket in India is all about money, glamour and politics. Mr Dalmia brought money and glamour to Indian and World cricket but could not survive the money managing politics of the organisation. He left gracefully and was recalled desperately to manage the same institution sullied by match fixing scandals. Great personality. Decent human being. May he rest in peace.
Well-Done Bellevision UAE. Thank you Bellevision.com webmaster Sigfred Dsouza for your Video Album and publishing the Monthi Fest news report on time.
Very good writeup. Yet communication is not complete. Keep on writing so that readers/viewers of belle vision may be benefitted. I thank you for the good article.-benedict Noronha, Udupi
In a large organization I served, lack of communication was blamed for all everything by everybody from CEO to tea-boys. It was voted as number one problem. Everyone blamed everyone else except him/her. Everyone bitched about the other, behind their back, everyone spoke about each other but never to each other. The company made mega profits, they were all happy and for ever after, they said lack of communication is to blame!
Belle Vision UAE the mother organisation of all Belle Visions has proved again they are Masters. In all ways you have delivered a best function. Nice to see Lavina, Veera, Jaison, and Cyprian perform as MCs. Our best actors Rony, Joba and Avil with super actors of Guddottu Dolphy and Ivan... I appreciate all the new generation who participated in dance performances, singing etc.. Also appreciate all the program planners. Wonderful Photography because you captured each and every moments which we have seen in Facebook...
Ahhh finally the day arrived. Looking at the response one can say that our efforts did not go in waste. Thank you all.

Thanks Priya Florence for your detailed report. I would say this is one of the best Monthi Fest celebrations I ever had in the history of Bellevision Dubai. I congratulate the president and all Bellevision Committee members for organizing such a great event. The presentation of old memories were amazing. MC,s, food, hotel location. Parking, skits, songs, music, everything was perfect. This is complete package. I am happy to see Belle has tremendous talent including small kids and youths and adults. Thank you and long live Bellevision UAE
Congratulations Team Bellevision for successfully hosting Nativity Feast. By looking at the pictures one can say it was a grand celebrations. A lot of new faces, youngsters were present which gives a ray of hope for the future. Efforts of Ivan, Valerian Fernandes, Veera, Lavina, Jason, Florence, Cyprian is clearly visible. I missed this great event for the first time. I hope we Belleans will grow in unity and help our follow brothers, sisters and our own institutions of Belle in the days to come
Francis, communication is also a two-way street. It is not only how you convey a message so that it is received and understood by someone in exactly the way you intended, it is also how you listen to gain the full meaning of what is being said and to make the other person feel heard and understood. Good article to contemplate on.
Congratulations team Bellevision for organizing grand Monthi Fest. I wish the unity will continue among Belleans residing over UAE for the coming years.
Well done Priya Florence Martis for the lovely report. Also Lancy Martis, Marwin Mathias Sandeep Fernandes for the beautiful Photography.
Keep up the good work. Lamb jeyo Bellevision
Well organized event by Bellevision. Got to meet many people from my native place. Congratulations Bellevision UAE and looking forward more gatherings like this.
Congratulations to Belle people on keeping alive Monthi Fest Celebration reviving unity and cordiality among residents in Dubai May BVM bless them abundantly.
Very beautiful.... I would also like to join the community. Can I get the name and number of the concerned person whom I can contact.
I would say good communication is a true expression of the inner-person. It sells a person well and also it depicts ones attitude and entire personality. Educative article from dear Francis! no doubt…!!
Good communication skills are some of the simplest, most essential and most useful tools for success one can possess. In fact, they are probably the no. 1 ability sought by employers. Enjoyed reading the article!
Oh, Christians, please do not knock government doors for alms in order to pay for a trip to Holy Lands. Your Lord God does not command you to seek him in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Sinai, Damascus and Egypt. Seek him among the needy in the community of which you are part of. If you must support the pilgrimage business, then spend your money: about 75K per person on average.
I have recovered from viral arthritis but still have lot of joint pains and also want to detox and loose few kilos . Can you help me with any programme . I am interested in coming there in the first week of October .
Bellevision.com..... Heartfelt thanks to you your team for promptly publishing this news and encouraging our parishners. God bless your mission and thank you once again for your cooperation at all times.
"Seek you will find; Knock and it will be opened to you; and Ask and you will be given" so goes the Word of God. These christians atlast got enlightenment to follow the Woord of God. Good luck then you brothers who presented a memoranduum to Mr. J.R. Lobo, M.L.A. putting before him the prayers to get aid to visit Holy Lands. I wish it will be granted and then I will also try to visit Holy lands then. Good Luck to all of us. God hear our prayers.
Request for location in Dubai.Timings and if appointment is needed
Being a poet enthusiast, Extremely happy to know such workshop on poetry. Long live Moodubelle parish and organizers.

Nice program, please have more such programs in Belle church. Also give career guidance to our students
Very good initiative. This is a healthy development in Belle. Parish priest Fr.Clement Mascarenhas need be appreciated for his support and encouragement. Thanks Mr.Sannu Monis and Mrs.Meera Lobo for the good job. Hope Belle will see more such quality prograns
Good job Sannu Monis and Suvaad committee. Please arrange more such programs in Moodubelle and neighbouring parishes so that quality of literature will improve. Please also include Kunthalnagar parishioners when arranging such beautiful events
Congratulations to Suvaad team, Sannu Monis and Mrs.Meera Lobo for organizing this great event. In a time when our youngsters and children are going away from Konkani literature, we need more such events in Moodubelle. I feel Moodubelle school should take up Konkani as third language in primary and high school as it is done in several schools of Mangalore and Udupi. Hope this exercise results in more quality poems, articles which should eventually help Suvaad parish magazine. Wish you all the very best
Dear Sannu Monis, use Bellevision platform and organize these type of programs. you are always missing during BV programs..why???
like your Article. Appreciate your work and hope more info is collected, good work.
Congratulations to the organizers! Great job. Happy to see such an activity in our parish.
This is an great initiative never heard before in Belle. Suvaad committee, Mrs.Meera Lobo along with Sannu Monis need to be congratulated for this great effort. The great thing I liked is about the participation and leadership by our beloved parish priest Fr.Clement Mascareanhas. he involves in every event activly and guides everyone, which is a great blessing. Moodubelle is today blessed due to the presence of Fr.Clement Mascarenhas. Hope Moodubelle will see more poets and writers in the days to come
