Udupi: Karate Classes begin at Rotary Bhavan, Bantakal

Udupi, 7 Jul 2014: Kobudo Budokon Karate classes have begun at the leadership of national Karate champions Sharol Quadros and Carol Quadros and at the guidance of Karate coach Nityanand Kemmannu, at Rotary Bhavan, Bantakal, near here on Saturday July 5.
 
Rotary Club International (RCI) – Shirva president and Shirva gram panchayat member K R Patkar inaugurated the Karate classes.
 
RCI – Shirva former president Lucas D’Souza, Panjimar gram panchayat member Veerendra Shetty, Catholic self-help-group former president Jacinta D’Souza, mimicry artiste Mervin D’Souza Shirva, senior Karate instructor Laxminarayan B Acharya, Ravi Salian, Rohitaksha, Sucheth Shirva were present on the occasion.

 

 
Nityanand Kemmannu in his presidential address said that at the prevailing situation, its essential that one has to learn anyone of self defense methods.  He also urged the people to take advantage of newly-opened Karate classes in their neighbourhood.
 
Sharol welcomed the gathering.  Raghuraj compered the programme.  Sharol proposed vote of thanks.
