Mangaluru: Bunts community pleads Karnataka CM Bommai to grant 2A Reservation

Mangaluru, 18 Oct 2021: The delegation led by Aikala Harish Shetty, president of Federation of World Bunts Associations met Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai presented a memorandum to the latter, urging the state administration to grant 2A reservation to Bunts community.

 

 

Harish urged the CM that although Bunts community seems to be better off, there are brethren in remote villages who are living in poverty and lack basic amenities. In order to improve the living conditions of such brethren; the state administration ought to grant 2A reservation to the community.

 

Federation of World Bunts Associations secretary Indrali Jayakar Shetty, directors K Prakash Shetty and Santosh Shetty Inna, Suresh Shetty Gurme, Sakharam Shetty, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde and Ashok Shetty were present.
